Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs)
THP’s Licensure & Career Integration Bridging Program
Trillium Health Partners (THP) has a program that helps internationally educated health professionals (IEHPs) move into regulated health jobs in Canada. The program uses THP’s WeMentor+ platform to give participants mentorship, learning tools, and support. It helps IEHPs gain the skills and confidence they need to work in our healthcare system and build long-lasting careers. It also helps health care organizations hire and keep talented people from diverse backgrounds.
THP received funding from the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development to run this program for two years (2025–2027). The goal is to help 92 IEHPs get their licenses and find jobs that match their skills as quickly as possible.
