SEASON 1
Institute for Better Health launched in January 2014. It is focused on actually improving health within a population.
We became a teaching hospital in 2011 - learn more about the unique role of this Mississauga campus.
How we are providing great medical learners experience.
Our research is focusing on changing the operations and the flow, and how hospitals in regions work and innovating around that.
Most important research right now is actually how do we design healthcare, How do we deliver it in new ways, How do we use technology.
That type of research is called health services research, or implementation science.
There are 54 students each year at the Mississauga Academy of Medicine.
Medical learners benefit from great learning experience at Trillium Health Partners.Ministry of Health, as part of their innovations came up with this idea of Health Links: It's about cross-sectoral collaboration, so that we're not just looking at an experience of care, not just an episode, but the whole journey across the system, both inside and outside the hospital.
