We will be extending free parking for all staff and professional staff at all our sites and satellite sites until the end June, and this will be the final month as the Hospital will be returning to normal operations where appropriate.
  1. THP staff who pay monthly parking through bi-weekly payroll deduction: all payroll deduction parkers have been paused for the month of June
  2. THP staff who have submitted their enrollment for the free parking term: THP staff who have previously submitted their enrollment for free parking in April or May will be extended to June, there’s nothing further required from your end
  3. Professional staff who have paid for the entire year up front: THP’s parking provider will be reimbursing your credit card to include June’s monthly fee. Please allow 7-10 business days for the reimbursement to reach your account.   • Costco Wholesale. Costco is showing their support and appreciation by giving line bypass to all health care and first responders effective immediately. You must show your hospital ID badge at the entrance to any Costco.
  • TNT supermarket is offering priority access to healthcare workers. Bring your ID Badge with you.
  • Grocery Hero. This is a free delivery service to help healthcare professionals. Volunteers are matched with a healthcare professional in their neighbourhood to help with grocery delivery. Submit a form here.
  • Dogtopia. This is a state-of-the-art dog daycare facility with HD Webcams where you can watch your pup play all day! Health care workers receive 25% off passes and memberships during Covid. Submit a request to redeem your first day for free.
  • University of Toronto's Medical Students. A student-led initiative by the University of Toronto’s Medical students that offers support with everyday tasks. Submit a form here.

  • Walmart Canada. Healthcare workers can now shop in Walmart stores with priority access. Simply show your ID Badge and you’ll be invited into our stores, no lining up.
  • Helly Hansen Apparel. As a small token of our appreciation for everyone who put themselves at risk to protect others, we have now opened our Pro Program to healthcare professionals. Valid for an initial period of one year, healthcare professionals will be granted a 50% discount on non-sale items on and Sign up here.
  • Saje Natural Wellness. On Thursday, August 27th, Saje’s Oakville location on Lakeshore Road will be providing health care workers with 15% off the entire store by showing their ID badge. This discount will be offered all day. Saje Oakville on Lakeshore will also be holding an event at 6:30 p.m. to celebrate all health care workers, where prizes can be won.   • Coping with COVID-19: Support for Frontline Health Care Workers. The Mental Health and Addictions Centre of Excellence at Ontario Health ( has partnered with 5 leading hospitals in Ontario to provide supports to front-line health care workers. Health and community care workers across Ontario are showing incredible strength through the COVID-19 pandemic. But even the strongest among us need help sometimes. For health and community care workers, stress, anxiety, exhaustion, and compassion fatigue are all normal responses in this pandemic. It’s ok to say it: this is really hard. And it’s ok to seek support to help with coping. Health and community care workers from across Ontario can access more information on mental health support via Five hospitals have partnered with the Ministry of Health and the Mental Health and Addictions Centre of Excellence at Ontario Health to provide confidential support, including access to iCBT. Frontline health and community care workers from across the province can self-refer online or by phone to any of the five hospital access points below:

  • Information for Parents and Children.

  • Canadian Psychological Association. Psychological services to front line health care providers who may be feeling stressed, overwhelmed or distressed by being on the front lines of this health crisis. For a full list of Psychologists offering pro-bono services in Ontario, please click here.
  • Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. CAMH is providing access to mental health and addiction supports for health care workers who might be impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. These supports will include access to resources, psychotherapy and psychiatric services (covered through OHIP). If you require support, complete a Self-Referral Form.
  • Free Therapy Sessions for Health Care Workers: Ontario COVID-19 Mental Health Network was created to provide support to health care workers during COVID-19. Each Ontario-based mental health professionals provide up to five sessions over the phone for free. Visit: Ontario COVID-19 Mental Health Network.
  • Wilfrid Laurier University Free Course Offering. Wilfrid Laurier University is offering a free, special edition module to help support your positive mental well-being. The Essential Self-Care and Resilience course is an uninstructed, self-paced course available to everyone online. The course is designed to provide knowledge and skills to help people cope, not only with the current COVID-19 pandemic, but with difficult situations in everyday life.   • Free Physiotherapy Services. To learn more about the services offered or if you want to make a virtual appointment with one of the therapists, call (905) 997-8337 or visit Elite Physio.
  • Employee & Family Assistance Program. Confidential voluntary service that provides immediate and confidential help for any work, health or life concern. If you need to talk to someone confidentially about how you are feeling, or access related information, please visit the thpHub.
  • Mental Health Commission of Canada. In response to added pressures on essential workers during COVID-19, the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) has developed a trio of free crisis response training programs designed to help front-line workers deal with the stress of these exceptional circumstances.   • Ontario Health (Central). Ontario Health (Central) has established this web page to promote self-care and the well-being of its community providers’ staff.   • Morneau Shepell. Provides various learning resources.
    • A 25 minute free webinar: Emotional Well-being during COVID-19 (English version and French version).

  • Mindfulness & Meditation Apps. Various meditation applications are offering free access to services.
    • Woebot (useful tool to provide step-by-step guidance using tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness principles)
    • Big White Wall (free online mental health support network for Ontarians 16+. It is safe, anonymous and available 24/7.)

    • Peloton (new users get 90-day trial of its subscription workout app)

  • National Ballet of Canada. The National Ballet of Canada would like to share their virtual stretches and workout classes for free. These classes are specifically designed for front line workers and emergency responders. To learn more about the Gratitude Classes, click here.

  • Peace on Purpose - Lululemon / United Nations. Peace on Purpose is a partnership between the United Nations Foundation and Lululemon that provides mindfulness tools designed to support people through this difficult time.
  • The Joy4All Project. Youth Leaders have created a hotline to bring joy to those experiencing isolation. When you dial the local and toll-free numbers, you will be able to choose from a number of pre-recorded options so that you can listen to stories, kind messages, jokes, and more! You can call 1-877 JOY4ALL (567-4255) and get a joke, poem or story to uplift your day! For more information, click here.
  • Modo Yoga. Modo Yoga is giving THP healthcare workers access to a FREE membership to enjoy yoga and meditation classes while their studios remain closed. The Modo Yoga Online platform supports wellness and self-care needs during this challenging time.

  • Resources for Resilience. Resources for Resilience is a project of the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology's Humanitarian Committee. Visit their website to access self-help techniques that can help you recover more quickly and easily from stressful events.

  • ISNA Canada. ISNA Canada has partnered with various restaurants to provide a daily free meal to healthcare workers in Halton, Peel, Waterloo, and Toronto hospitals. You need to call in to place an order and arrange for pick up of your order. For a detailed list of participating restaurants click here.
  • Community Vegan Resto. The restaurant is offering 50 per cent discount to THP staff and professional staff. To place an order please call 416-230-6109. Please note that the restaurant is located in Oakville (343 Kerr Street, Oakville).
  • Nando's Restaurant. Nando’s is offering free meals to health care workers who provide a valid hospital ID, or calls to place a to-go order and presents ID at collection. Offer must be redeemed by phone order or in-person takeout order.
  • McDonalds. McDonalds is offering a medium McCafé Premium Roast Coffee or Tea to healthcare workers at the drive-thru, at participating restaurants.
  • Other Restaurants. There are restaurants in Halton Region, Mississauga, Brampton and Toronto offering temporary discounts, delivery and/or take-out options.
  • Pulp & Press. The company produces a variety of raw, organic juices and is offering a discount to healthcare workers. To take advantage of this offer, please use the code FRONTLINE15.
  • Earls Square One. Earls Square One is offering a 30% discount for health care workers on all take-out food and groceries. For more information, visit
  • Copper Branch. Copper Branch, a plant based power food restaurant, is offering Trillium Health Partners a 25% discount at any of their Mississauga locations. All locations will be reopening May 8th, so just show your hospital ID Badge to receive your discount.
