Renovations at the Queensway Health Centre will make way for South Etobicoke’s first MRI machine

She succeeds Dr. Robert Reid, IBH’s inaugural Chief Scientist, who will focus on advancing key initiatives in learning health systems science and population health. Trillium Health Partners Opens New South Mississauga Dialysis Centre
(Mississauga, ON) Today marks the grand opening of Trillium Health Partners’ (THP) South Mississauga Dialysis Centre, a new addition to THP's renal care services located near Wellbrook Place – two long-term care homes operated by the not-for-profit organization Partners Community Health (PCH). This dialysis facility is designed to operate 16 stations for long-term care residents and community members living with chronic kidney disease and is THP’s fourth site for renal care. New Parking Garage Opens at The Queensway Health Centre
(Mississauga, ON) On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, Trillium Health Partners (THP) opened its newly constructed 800-spot parking garage at the Queensway Health Centre (QHC). The parking garage is part of THP’s preconstruction activities to prepare for the hospital’s major health infrastructure renewal plan, Trillium HealthWorks, and is designed to meet both current and future parking demands. Trillium Health Partners Reopens Urgent Care Centre at Queensway Health Centre
The Urgent Care Centre will reopen on January 29, 2024
(Mississauga, ON) Trillium Health Partners (THP) is reopening its Urgent Care Centre at Queensway Health Centre on January 29, 2024, at 3 p.m., expanding access to quality health care in our community.
The Urgent Care Centre will operate daily at Queensway Health Centre, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., to provide care for individuals of all ages with non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, such as sprains, minor burns, broken bones, and fevers. The hours of operation align with demand from the community, when other community care options are not as readily available, when Emergency Departments are most used, and the time of day with the highest volume of patients.

Trillium Health Partners to Strengthen Women’s and Children’s Services in Mississauga and West Toronto
Integration will bring specialized staff, physicians and services together to deliver a new model of care for patients
(Mississauga, ON) Building on the vision and plans for the province’s first Women’s and Children’s Hospital at the future The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital, Trillium Health Partners (THP) is advancing the integration of care for women and children in the community. Beginning in 2025, all Women’s and Children’s services, including labour and delivery, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and other gynecological and reproductive health services, will be provided at Credit Valley Hospital (CVH) until the new hospital is complete. Wellbrook Place, two new State of the Art long-term care homes in Mississauga

IO and THP signed a Development Phase Agreement (DPA) with ED+PCL Healthcare Partners, the Development Partner selected to further develop the project requirements and design, schedule, pricing, and risk management. 24/7 supports available to patients in their home thanks to a new partnership between CANES Community Care and Trillium Health Partners.

Ontario Investing Over $4.2 Million in Health Care Infrastructure Upgrades and Repairs for Trillium Health Partners in Mississauga and Etobicoke
(Mississauga, ON) The Ontario government is investing $4,211,561.00 this year to support critical upgrades and repairs at hospitals operated by Trillium Health partners. COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Clinic Opens in Mississauga
Trillium Health Partners community vaccine clinic at U of T Mississauga Campus can deliver up to 2,000 vaccines daily

(Mississauga, ON) – Premier Doug Ford, Minister of Health Christine Elliott, Solicitor General Sylvia Jones, MPP (Mississauga-Erin Mills) Sheref Sabawy, General Rick Hillier, Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie and Dr. Lawrence Loh were on hand as Trillium Health Partners’ (THP) mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Mississauga opened at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) campus. A partnership between THP, UTM and Peel Public Health, the clinic will administer up to 2,000 vaccinations per day by the end of March and can grow to 4,000 per day in subsequent phases. Mississauga Long-Term Care nurse becomes first to receive vaccine in hard-hit Peel

Builder contract awarded for two new long-term care homes in Mississauga
(Mississauga, ON) – Today, Infrastructure Ontario and Trillium Health Partners (THP) awarded a construction management contract to EllisDon to design and build two new long-term care (LTC) homes on Speakman Drive in Mississauga. Urgent Care Centre at Queensway Health Centre temporarily closing to create additional hospital beds
(Mississauga, ON) – As part of continued efforts to respond to COVID-19, Trillium Health Partners (THP) is taking additional actions that will add more hospital beds, increase testing and assessment capacity and provide more virtual care options to prepare for an influx of COVID-19 patients.
